What we collect
When you fill out a form on our site, such as the request for a free IT assessment, the contact form, or a checklist download, we collect what you type in: your name, email address, phone number, company name, and your message.
We don’t ask for payment details, Social Security numbers, or health information on this website. Please don’t include them in a form message.
Where form information goes
Form submissions are sent to GlassHive, the marketing platform we use to manage contacts and send email. GlassHive stores this information on our behalf.
Spam protection
Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to block spam and automated sign-ups. reCAPTCHA collects information about your device and how you use the page, and sends it to Google. Its use is covered by the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Terms of Service (https://policies.google.com/terms).
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how people use our site, like which pages get visited and how visitors found us. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects information such as your IP address, browser type, device, and the pages you view. We use these reports in summary form. We don’t use them to identify you personally.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). The site will still work if you do.
Customer reviews
Some pages show customer feedback from SmileBack, a service that collects ratings from our support clients. The widget is loaded from SmileBack’s servers, so SmileBack may receive basic technical information from your browser, such as your IP address, when the page loads.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to:
- reply to your request and schedule your IT assessment
- send you the checklist or other resource you asked for
- send occasional emails about IT and security topics, our services, and company news
- understand how our website is used so we can improve it
- keep our forms free of spam and abuse
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with other companies for their own marketing. We only share it with the service providers listed above that help us run the site and our email, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep contact information for as long as you remain a client, prospect, or email subscriber, and delete it when it’s no longer needed for those purposes or when you ask us to. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings.
Unsubscribing from email
Every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you’ll stop getting those emails. You can also call us and we’ll take you off the list.
Seeing, correcting, or deleting your information
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call us at 832.286.1911 or send a request through our contact page. We may need to confirm who you are before we make changes.
Children
Our website is meant for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Links to other sites
Our site links to other websites, such as our remote support tool, customer portal, and social media pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we aren’t responsible for how they handle your information.
